I agree on measurements, and too much description is better than not enough.
Keep shipping costs reasonable. If there's a good reason for a higher shipping cost (item size, weight makes flat rate shipping best choice, etc.), explain it in your description.
If responding to negative/neutral feedback, keep explanation professional. I won't buy from someone who sounds nasty and 'attacks' the buyer, even if they have good reason.
Answer questions as soon as possible. If there's more than a day delay in responding, briefly explain why. I need to know that you're interested in getting my business.
